Next: Watford (A)

So, next we go into the hornet's nest to face Watford who currently lie on respectable 8th place. Their biggest scoring thread is surely Ighalo who has now scored in six games in a row and who will deffo keep our CB's busy.
Watched them on Monday and their defenders were so shit on the ball I'd make the squad press as high as possible but has Pellers scouted them and will he adopt that system or does he have his own plans?

And what will we do?
Who is even available? Delph?
Is Cliche fit to replace Kola for this game which is surely what 90% of this board wants?
Please tell me Zabs is finally fit to replace Sagna?
Should we drop KDB for Navas as he just doesn't seem to produce the goods away from Etihad and our best away results have come with him on the bench (baggies, Everton, Sevilla)?
How about under par Kun?

Discusss

Never happen but Nachoman to start. His pace would terrify Watfords defence. Kun just isn't there yet in terms of fitness. Better to give him 20/30 minutes if need be.

Navas to start with Zabaletta. Rest KDB as well. Tell Yaya to get his shooting boots on, Gomes is an accident waiting to happen

More of the same but with more clinical finishing.

For me we have to start Aguero to get him as much game time as possible to get him match fit

Another lame duck draw while the gap to the top continues to grow.

For this one I'd rest KDB and give Navas a run out. Navas, Silva, Sterling as the three behind the striker. The pace will scare the Watford defenders in my opinion.

I'd begin with:

Hart;
Zaba, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy;
Yaya, Dinho;
Navas, Silva, Sterling;
Nacho Man

I'd go with that.

There is no chance nacho will play. None none none... Wouldn't be surprised if the lad wants out

I am sure kelechi is not laughing, what the fuck is he ment to do in 3 minutes. Getting a few 2-3 minute cameos here and there is not good enough, the lack of willing to introduce younger players when the opportunity arises is shameful management.
He should be given a proper chance, and not just in the league cup.

I agree that a couple of minutes isn't enough but you really think the lad is becoming disillusioned already? If he is then he's not worth the hassle.

To be fair to the kid, Aguero has been injured for a while and Bony...well Bony hasn't been the best yet he's still not been given a chance. Even at Villa where Bony went off injured and there was a chance to bring on Ian he chose not to. That would make me disillusioned because he's not going to get a better chance than when both our strikers are out.

I get that he may well be frustrated but to suggest he may be disillusioned is stretching a bit and a bit ott in my opinion.

Iheanacho is still a raw kid and isn't a player you can pin all your hopes and expectations on. Bony maybe last seasons Vardy but he isn't a wimp (same goes with Pellegrini) by any stretch.

We're not pinning our hopes on him. We're adding him to team of 10 very good other players. If we don't put him in we'll never know what he can bring.
