He gets the tin tack and replaced by Zidane. All very predictable. He will be after Pogba and Hazard but will need to get rid of players too. Cue Clubs looking for Zidane's cast offs. Isco, Kroos maybe Bale?

I'm trying to recall a previous time a top flight club gave the managers job to one of its country's legends and former captains (but who had next to no management experience).

I wonder how that went.

Bale isn't going anywhere as long as Perez is president.

Well he was the one who convinced Isco to join them, so I doubt it.

Well things change so we'll see. I suspect Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo had a lot to do with Benitez sacking. Two over mighty subjects if ever there were ones.

Exactly what I was thinking, Zidane as manager means Isco is going nowhere now.

It must be very strange being a president at the spanish fan owned clubs. The fans have power as they vote the president in and he doesn't want to upset the fans as they will vote him out, no wonder they are the knee jerk reaction club. Doesn't excuse Chelseas philosophy though :-)

What is Chelsea's philosophy? I think part of their problem is that even they don't know what it is or what they want it to be.

Success at all costs, or the sack.

lose 0-4 to Barca at home you are finished. Zidane will be gone within a matter of months. 3 Yrs is the max for any manager, even we have said that, Raffa back at Valencia, get your 20p on it. Chuckle 1 will be back on Sky.

I'll give him 3 seasons.

Winter, spring and summer.
