His comments about the ref in relation to Terry's offside equaliser yesterday are fuckin laughable given his comments about the ref showing maturity for not giving the last minute penalty at ours the game before. Why do the media not quiz him about the inconsistency in his comments?
You win some, you lose some Roberto. Move on, like we seem to always have to.

Ain't karma a bitch.
Hopefully Sterling puts them to the sword in the second leg, if he scores he should run over to the Everton bench and dive in front of Martinez.

Still pissed off that no one from our club has asked the Turkish fake trainers seller for an apology.

Like.
I don't know why managers brush off when a decision goes for them, then moan like fuck when it goes against. They look like idiots. Perhaps that's why Pellegrini keeps his counsel when we have poor decisions against us.
Have lost a bit of respect for Martinez now

To be fair, he did talk about the offside being a matter of fact, rather than opinion as in a penalty incident.

It's a fact that it was a penalty. They both come down to the same thing - human error.

True enough, but he also talked about the penalty as it was fact and not a judgement call, which the referee ruled incorrectly as it goes. He has now dug a hole for himself

He actually admitted he'd not seen a replay and just saw it in real time, but then went on to comment on it and saying Sterling 'invited the contact' like it was fact. If he hadn't seen a replay he should have probably done a Wenger and said he'd not seen it. He's just made himself look like a bellend.

Thanks for the thread, this forum has turned into a place to vent out frustration these days. Dont get me wrong, I am glad the forum is there but I hate coming on here for negative reasons.
Martinez comments are headlines for yesterdays match and for our match it was how fucking Everton heroes held Man city

how is this any different than any other manager?
thats why i was pleasantly surprised to see Hiddink actually say that Terry's goal was offside.
most managers complain when stuff doesn't go in their favor and deny that something that does go in their favor shouldn't have.

You've asked how is it different from any other manager, and then in the next breath given an example of a manager NOT doing that and being different. So which is it?

how about I just quote what I said above. how's that?

(but if you really want one how about all the times Pellegrini says he doesn't use injuries as an excuse yet constantly mentions injuries in almost every presser. or how he says he doesn't talk about Mourinho but does)
