When I am watching at home games you don't notice yaya much as i sit in the ss 3rd tier
But when watching away games on sky/BT you notice what he does or not do, he is so slow I could get pass him he doesn't track back he doesn't put a good tackle in, he just wanders all over the place and he follows the ball and not making space for himself so get the ball back to get another attack going. He should at best be a impact player coming on in the last 20 mins not play all game, and sometimes he slows our attack up by passing back or sidewards

We don't have anyone good enough to replace him.

He's certainly not showing enough to be starting games by any means. Also not enough in his engine room to start every game. Impact sub now
There are moments he shows his quality but the guy looks so tired and on too many occasion.... half arsed.

Good thing you started another thread about this, didn't think there were enough on here already.

But is he good enough to be in our team now, I have any body who will put a shift in, not just strolling around

These threads need to stop. This subject has been done to death. We know his strengths and weaknesses. Today wasn't Yaya.

Sick talking about him. He was immense for pellegrini two seasons ago when he played a major part when he won pellegrini the league, but yaya ain't got it in the tank to do that no more, but the manager won't/can't let go.

Fern 2 and Delph are average, not nearly good enough to replace even a strolling Yaya. The squad has become much weaker during MPs reign. We have regressed, which is as clear as the balls on the bull. I don't know who is responsible for that as I don't know who does the buying.

Is he as good as he always was? No. Look at Yaya three years ago and look at Yaya now.
It would be a dreadful shame if he is remembered as being the shadow he is now rather than the supreme footballer he has been for us in the past.
I'd thank him for everything, and it has been A LOT, but the sands of time run out for everyone at some stage.

In his current position as a starting midfielder of two, then yes he is not up to scratch.
In a different role, impact sub, number 10 even, deep lying playmaker a la Pirlo, then maybe we can get another 18 decent months out of him

I agree. Yaya can still play a role for us. But it will not be the role he's previously played for us. And that's ok.
The only problem is Pellegrini still thinks he can.

Its like groundhog day ffs !!
Pellegrini will always pick the lump , no matter how shit he plays...and thats a fuckign fact.
We just have to deal with that till Pep gets here...........and trust me , he will be one of the first fuckers to go!

How come every fan, every pundit can see it but Pellegrini can't? Has Yaya got photos of him in a compromising position?

In a word, yes. He was awful yesterday, but so were too many others, namely KDB, Silva and the 2 centre backs. Sterling wasn't great when he came on either
