I can't be arsed to even hope for the title now, no fight, no passion and no leadership. The team have bottled it along with the manager, we need some young and hungry players to come in to mix it up again. Tomany of our squad are simply doing what they have to to collect their pay cheque, sadly it seems only to get worst with the modern day football player. Why they lack any form of back bone and self respect is beyond me.

I am starting to seriously doubt Pellegrini. We seem to play the exact same way, no matter what players we have on the pitch or who the opponents are. High back line, attack through the fullbacks, play the same patterns, give the opposing team plenty of room and don't close off space as a team. Now this is either;

1. Cocky, where we feel that we just need to turn up and concentrate when we have the ball and not work when we don't, or

2. Genius, where Pellegrini doesn't want us to burn out before the serious run in starts and as we will have a game every 3-4 days, there isn't enough time to tweak formations and tactics every game, he wants all players to be able to play the same way.

Time is quickly running out for number 2 to come to fruition and if we don't improve quickly then you would have to ask what the hell Pellegrini and the players have been doing in training for the last 6 months

Not a hope in hell with Arsenal,Spurs,Rags and Chelsea to play and our annual dicking at Anfield.
You'd have to be seriously pissed or high to back us.

3 home 1 away, not that it makes that much difference, we've conceded more at home than both Villa and Sunderland have.

Sunday will be very informative. If we can turn up and put in half the energy and effort that Leicester showed then that would suggest that we can get it back together. Another performance of the same poor level would suggest that we will spend the rest of the season limping along.

Sunday is going to be very important.

This is probably the first REAL super Sunday in a long time. The top 4 all facing each other in back to back games.

Not a mid table v relegation team (rags v chavs)

In the last 21 prem games we've taken just one point more than the rags. Shocking that.

Yet bizarrely we're still only 6 points off the pace.

When's kev back?

We're only 6 points off the top. We can do this, especially if the application by the players is like it was today. We've won it from worse positions than this.

The main danger is the officials.

We can do it but like Carragher said it is 3 teams that all need to drop points. The main problem is that Pellegrini is a braindead.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Cheers.
