A contemptible bell end who is just out to try and shock to get his name in lights. A player who had it all, pace, power, left foot, right foot, dribbling who could have been one of the greats. I called him out for that and he accused me of being an ex-rag who would go back to supporting them in 10 years. Shit put down. Then had loads of rags saying that his comment wasn't racist

Desperate and bitter. People behave like this when they know their team has nothing to show on the pitch. They will go down and looking at their recruitment, might not return any time soon.

If the club ban Collymore it might save him from a good hiding next time he shows his ugly despicable face at the Etihad .

Above all he has to understand that if he is a sports pundit, journalist, presenter, chat show host or whatever it is he is meant to be that he cant sit both sides of the fence where 'professional' and 'punter' sits. There can be no grey area and essentially you cant be both publically without getting yourself into trouble. He's done it before and he'll do it again.

As a person professionally or otherwise I have no interest in him so don't find myself being particularly wound up by it to be honest.

There is a funny story I know about him. When he was at Aston Villa, they played Steaua and lost 2-1 at Bucharest, but Collymore got his head kicked in by a player called Adrian Matei. They had a conflict on the field, then Matei beat his arse in the dressing room.

Then, in 2012, both of them were commentators for the Europa League Final from Bucharest. The media made a moment with them, but the rumour is that Collymore made a comment towards Matei after the coverage, something about that he, in fact, beat Matei and the other. Well, Matei tried told Collymore he will beat him again in front of everyone if he comes to the post match reception for the media.

Guess who did not show up.
