Fizzling or sizzling?

So, the start of a period of huge games. This I is the nature of going for trophies, the games just keep getting bigger and bigger, until you either win a competition or fuck it up. So is our season about to fizzle out or is it sizzling up nicely.
In a month from now what do you expect us still to be involved in.
Three league games against tough opposition,
Horrible away tie in the Cup
League Cup final
And 1st leg of the CL tie with Kiev.
I'll start, I expect us to have won the League Cup, still be either top or second in the League. Out of FA Cup and still have work to do against Kiev.
It's a 'Sizzling' for me.

You're misrepresenting what I said, Mister Tank Engine.

I'm not at all. I ain't trying to represent anything. Just asking the question as we go into an exciting stretch of games. I appreciate it can all come crashing down any moment

Fair enough, I was talking specifically about the league though, and mentioned today as one of four games that are really important for us over the next couple of months. Here's hoping we smash the Foxes.

Couple of wins and we'll almost certainly be in the mix all the way. Couple of defeats and it's nearly gone.
It's what we always wanted but my God, it can get tense.

I've been hoping for a long time that our form would improve, but it looks like it won't. We were poor against Sunderland and again today.
I just can't see us winning anything including the league cup final.

There's not though we have lost too many games. Cant see us beating spuds and the arse at home. We will loose more away games as well. We won't win it.

Have the previous two times we have won the league taught you nothing?

If Aguero remains fit, we always have a chance.
We don't appear to have any game plan these days but with Aguero fit we can always turn a game.
There are clearly problems within the squad and only a fool would think differently.
I still think we can win the league. We have proven in the past we can come back to do so. But we have played the same tactics all season and we are completely predictable. Therefore if we win a trophy, it will be due to individual brilliance as every team knows exactly how we will try to play against them.

If we can reduce the deficit to three points by mid-March I would still back us in the league, if we are out if the FA Cup and don't suffer anymore long term injuries.
Less seriously, I also think Karma will pay Leicester back for their fans singing 'we're going to win the league' in February. Bad mistake.

I did think that. Even the dippers waited until March. Beating City doesn't make you champions, hell, you don't even have to be very good most weeks

You can't really compare. Our defending now is absolutely abysmal. It was not that bad when we won the last two titles, not by a million miles.
Aside from the defending we are in much worse form all over the pitch, with the exception of the keeper who has been saving us from embrassment.
It only points to us dropping more points.

I'd say Wizzling, with the 'W' meaning Wank.
