If Txiki had bought all our foreign players yesterday afternoon we'd be quids in. Now the exchange rate is a bit dodgy for a day or two. Might not sign anyone just yet!
Other than that what does it matter?

Surely we as a business already have the funds in a euro account? Thus any drop in the exchange rate is irrelevant as we'd have got whatever rate was applied when we put the funds in there.

At the moment non EU footballers are subject to work permit regulations. If that was extended to EU footballers it could affect us a great deal. Some way off probably

Why is stuff in the papers and online sayinf Inter cannot afford to bid for Yaya? They supposedly just bid 25m euros for Berardi. Granted, his wages will be less than Yaya's but Inter make it sound like theyre broke

Because they are cunts. They were just bought by a new millionaire 1 or 2 months ago. I dislike making deals with them.

45m sounds like less than I thought it was going to be. I suspect we will do it if that's actually the price.

Media will turn that into a bargain. Good piece of business, etc. Take your pick.
