Suits us just fine. Another game for the arse is never a bad thing. Surprised the elephant man didn't want a defeat as for them, promotion is surely the priority?

Was hoping for an Everton draw as well, but I'll take the Arse having to play another game.

Ours needs to be done and dusted tomorrow, regardless of result. Unless Pellers is going to play all the youth then no worries.

I've never seen this.

Dortmund score and Bayer manager is pissed and gets sent off but refuses to go. Ref has had enough and walks off the pitch with his assistants. in the 67th minute.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

2nd place vs. 4th or a young squad vs. a full strength Chelsea. im dvr'ing the City match and was going to catch up by halftime but now this debacle happened.

I am interested. What happened. Did the club officials remove him and the game restarts or was it abandoned?

both teams went into the tunnel and the ref said the match would not conitnue until the manager went into the stands. Bayer's Sporting Director came down and was talking to the ref. eventually it resumed from the 67th minute so apparently the Bayer manager conceded.

the ridiculousness of it all is that the foul Bayer were incensed about wasn't even a foul. in fact, it was a foul in favor of Dortmund, which is what the ref awarded.

There's a Beeb article about it, apparently suspended for 8 minutes until the manager did as he was told.

Another win got Ratboy. Cheeky bid as caretaker until the end of the season if we fuck up in Kiev and at Wembley?

Only joking of course! Seems to have turned a corner though to be fair.

Just seen an absolute shocker of a miss by Dzeko. Goalkeeper completely out of the way no other player in sight three yards out easy pace and screwed wide. Well rid.

Did he have time to think about it? That was always a flaw in him.

Scored some amazing goals for us but always seemed to fluff his lines when he had time to make a decision.

"The German referee asked Leverkusen's acting captain Stefan Kiessling, who had conceded the foul that led to the goal, to tell his coach to leave the dug-out."

What the fuck is this about? Did the ref not send him off himself? I wouldn't leave the dugout either if that was the case.

Don't know whether this is clickable. Miss of the season surely. It was during a thrashing of Palermo. Apparently he scored twice and made two assists so I guess I'm being unfair. Such bad technique as he mishits the ball, with his heel.

Just getting back to this WW. I think this finally answers the question OD or Carl or whoever, is constantly asking Phips.
I've nothing against you Phips but I sometimes think you look for trouble on here and then claim victim.
The timing of the post three minutes to a kick off that most on here would watch with expectation for the youngsters finally on display, struck me as attention seeking.

You then explain you would rather watch Dortmund.
Fair enough. I'm just surprised you didn't get more grief to be honest.
I'd say it's because most were on the match thread.
Good luck to you. Whatever floats your boat.

He's still miles better than the pony we have on our injury list. I'd swap those two in a heartbeat

Epic miss that, takes some skill to miss from there.
