Might be fun to see how much the shirt numbers add up to. Including the bench I'll go for 686.
In terms of the score a Chelsea 3-1, though knowing our luck a draw is feasible

I know he'smade of glass but Vinny could do with some minutes. I suspect it won't be quite as youthful a line up as some might think.

Me neither. I reckon it'll be a mix. I also have woke with a feeling that we'll do it today. The kids will play like it's their world cup final as they will want to show Pep that they are worth a shot of progressing with City. Pep is known to bring youngsters on through the ranks and they know this so will give all they have. It could be quite a surprising day.

Pellers reported in the independent saying he wouldn't buy a ticket today. I have a feeling that we will start with at least 6 youngsters, weve made it very clear since the draw that we would field a significantly under strength side and if we were to go back on that I think I'd be disappointed.

I wouldn't put it past Pellers being a bit disingenuous. If we ARE forced to play a weak team he still won't want to lose and the only chance is to pretend its even weaker

I am really looking forward to this game.
I agree with rural and John@s.
The 'kids' will be chomping at the bit. The line-up will have a few old heads in there as well.
This is the 'kids' big chance. They are going to fight tooth and nail - and can keep it up for 90 mins - no problem - youth is a great and beautiful thing.
If we can get settled into the match without giving away an early goal - then Chelsea will have to dig deep - have they the hunger?
Nicely poised.

City will play plenty of kids today likely get beaten and the media will be all over it. There will be real focus on the wheels coming off since Pep was announced.Total garbage as we were playing pretty crap before it but that won't matter and little attention to the fact that we had a reserve side out after being done by the FA.

Off topic I know but -
'...since Pep was announced.Total garbage as we were playing pretty crap before it...'
The players would have know way before it was announced - small circle of agents, top pro footballers, etc... - word would have reached players ages ago
Could be a reason why our players have not been putting in a shift before the Pep announcement (excpt for the CL).
Re the unfair treatment of us by refs, FA, PL, etc...
Chelsea also have an axe to grind re unfair treatment (corruption) by the establishment (cartel).
Worst case for them was the CL 2009 via Barcelona.
The ref was a disgrace and I mean a disgrace. It was robbery on Chelsea.
It was so bad that I was hoping Drobga would level the ref after the match - just to get some sense of justice.
Barca go through after an injury time goal gave them 1-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had 3 or 4 penalty appeals turned down, one of them was blatant handball by Pique.

Caballero
Tosin
Sagna
MDM
Kolarov
Fernando
Humphreys
Garcia
Sterling
Iheanacho
Barker
Though Hart should play for me. Don't get this rotation for cup games for the goalkeeper myself

Reverse for me.
3 - 1 City.
Komps to open the scoring. Barker to add a second to take us back in front and Sterling to seal the day in the final five minutes.

I don't think Sagna is fit yet. Celina is starting today.

Posters who follow the 'kids' - what do you think of the team, how good are these kids, how many of them will make it with us, any chance of an upset?

Silva Aguero and Toure out of the squad altogether. Vinny, MdM all four full backs the two Ferns Sterling and obviously Nacho all in squad. Clearly they won't all start; only two full backs for a start unless he plays Kola wide left.
