Overall yes, think we will get through to the next round. A draw out there wouldn't be too bad but I think we will win out there.

Finding it hard to be optimistic at the moment. Dreading Sunday, but anyway. After the side we played yesterday we have to get a result else we look like bloody idiots. Season defining week.

A draw and NO injuries would be a bonus

We have been on a downward spiral for months , Pellegrini lost the plot a long time ago and has turned our defense from world class to shit class...fuck all the excuses about injuries..he bought shite , Otamendi and Mangala.....he got what he deserved.

I am not optimistic at all, cannot beat any of the top teams in our own league and the fuckign cunt still persists in playing players that are playing SHIT - we more than held our own yesterday in the first half and then the second half the so called top players stopped playing.

Embarrassing that the media blames the " weakened squad full of youngsters" when the embarrassment was down to cunts like Kolorov , caballero and MDM.....even Zabbaleta was and has been wank since he came back into the team.

I think the best result we can hope for is a draw.

A goal seems to be imperative as if they come back to ours with a 0-0, the pressure is on us.

I'm optimistic and think we can beat them in both legs. We may have had injuries and we may have looked lethargic in games but this has to be put to one side and everybody gives all. Pellers has prioritised the CL over all others this season, as seen by him picking Demi for certain games before and after the CL games.

Now is the chance to prove.

I am still optimistic we will get through the tie. Not necessarily optimistic for a result out there. I would snatch your hand off for a scoring draw

Manu Garcia and Brandon Barker travelling with the squad to Kyiv. Sagna and Mangala also fit and available for selection. Bony trained with the squad today but not yet ready for inclusion in the squad and didn't travel.

Hopefully with Mangala now fit we may never have to see MDM in the shirt again

have Kiev played a league match since their winter break? Let's hope they're out of form.

I know it was difficult to come on like that but I thought Barker was the least impressive of all the kids yesterday. Apart from losing the ball he seemed to just get in Kolarov's way, not really knowing where to go to receive the ball.

But I imagine he is one of those players that has more to offer with a good team around him.

I was a bit more positive about Barker. I thought he tried to be direct and use his pace against a pretty quick full back in Azpilicueta. I doubt either will get any minutes but it's nice to let them get a bit of the atmosphere and it's a small signal that yesterday wasn't a one off. The fans who did travel showed the youngsters warm appreciation.

As far as the match is concerned I think we'll look much steadier with Vinny and Otamendi playing together. I presume Sagna and Clichy will play at full back. Hopefully the two Ferns with Yaya more advanced and Silva and Sterling playing behind Sergio. Tough choice between Hart and Willy but Joe should JUST! get the nod!

I think we will get past Kiev. Quite confident. I can't say that about Sunday...MP will play Willy and set the team up wrong.
