I would have voted for 'Mister Caballero, sir' - but there wasn't an option for that.

I wasn't at all happy going to penalties, but Willy calmed the nerves. It may be his last appearance for us, but a memorable one.

I'd like to give a mention to Jesus Navas, who has been largely ignored in all the joy, for stepping up, taking and scoring a penalty in a crucial situation. Guts and skill is a great combination.

2016's Richard Edghill Moment.

Just before the penalties I was thinking which of our players may let the nerves get to them and fluff it. I was confident in Sergio and Yaya but worried about Navas and Sterling. Fair do's to Navas for just squeezing it in. Fine margins. Well done lad.

Good point - whoever worked with him to overcome his head problems did some marvellous work, he rarely drops below 100 percent effort and has the balls to take a Wembley penalty (and score with it). We need to find whoever it was and give them a job as a Sport psychologist at City.

Navas is deadly in League Cup Finals, 2 games 2 goals.
