Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

After Yaya scored the winning penalty and the team raced off to celebrate with him, Kompany went to the Liverpool players and shook each of their hands before beginning his own celebrations.
Class. He has it in abundance. So proud he is my captain

He's not a fucking bad player either.
Our defence looks 100x better with him in it.

Our TEAM looks better with him in it. The midfielders know he has his shit together and they can focus more on their jobs

A mate of mine watching with me noticed that and commented on it just the same. Class player and man.

He is what we miss. He's an absolute rock.
He was also very gracious in his interview, a real class act. Some may knock him but I'd like to see him at the club for years to come, in whatever guise.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Definitely. He needs to be kept at the club after his playing days are over.

He has got club ambassador, coach, manager and life president written all over him. Not necessarily in that order though!

Well said. On his way to becoming the greatest blue ever. He's as good off the field as he is on it.

Great man great captain great defender. In that order.
And some of the bollocks spouted about him when he was out injured. Shameful.

Spot on, he looks class and isn't the same player who spent most matches on his arse sliding around

He's wound me up this season, but it's moments like this that show why we get so angry when he isn't playing. He's our best defender and a true leader and we are soooooo much better for having him. Class act too.
Tracking back is overrated.

You've just won the cup on penalties and you catch yourself to turn and shake the hands of the losing team before joining the celebrations.
Name one other captain that would do this? Fucking doubt that little shit Henderson would have. And tbh, neither would I.
Very classy. The sheik must be delighted with how Vinny conducts himself.

Don't forget we play them again in two more days and it is always good to rub it in and thank them all individually, knowing that inside they must bepretty disappointed at losing !
Mind games. Kick 'em when they are down.
