Being serious, I went for Silva. Never shyed (shied?) away from wanting the ball and was the only one who was looking to work it. Not his fault his support was shit and also kicked to fuck.

Surround him with yaya/nasri/kev and watch the gaps open up. But just himself and a team of players who prefer to stand still than run into gaps? Not much else he can do.

Very tough.
I thought Silva really tried on his own to create something. He had no movement in front of him, nobody to share the guile beside him, and when he was looking good they kicked the shit out of him.
Not a lot to choose from. He's as good a choice as any.

Note how Kev gets exactly the same attention as Dave, but no fucking protection.

You know, we all used to laugh when bacon face would come out in the press complaining his precious little boys like Ronaldo or Beckham were never given protection. And whilst most of us would laugh at him, including the press, the fact everybody was talking about it did lead to refs noticing the sly kicks those players used to take. In a round about way, he actually managed to get them the protection they needed.

Now look at us this season, particularly since November where almost every game has seen the opposition kick the shit out of Dave or kev or serge. Game after game it happens, yet no cunt at city vocally makes a point about it. No attention drawn to it, and it goes on game after game.

I hated that cunt fergie but the prick knew how to argue things in his favour and it's something a few of our lot could learn from him. Time for pellers or somebody to open their fucking mouth and make the point that some of the league's best players are having the crap kicked out of them and by doing nothing they're complicit in the shittening of quality in the prem.

Pellers is the suits puppet who doesn't have a voice of his own. How many times has he said that the ref has a hard job to do when it's quite obvious we've been had off?

Mancini wouldn't take that shit which led to our first PL title, against all odds. Luckily Pep is the same and wont hold his tongue when needed.

I really hate on this site how most people can't be arsed putting the players full name.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

As Brian Clough once said about the team selection for the next game, " the only certainty is Albert and he drives the bus". A lot of those out there today have stolen their wages this week

Gave it to Otters who I thought did very well today. Silva and Kompany put in a good shift as well.
Aguero, Navas, Bony and Sterling should hang their head in shame. The Ferns and the full backs were decent, but not great.

Yes, a bit harsh. But his usual "loads of energy - no end product" just rubbed me the wrong way today.

At last, an option I can vote for.

The rest of them can fuck right off, bunch of over paid prima Donnas. Wankers.

Put in a performance like that next Sunday and I'll be outside the ground with rotten fruit waiting. Twats.

He needs to make better decisions when challenging his full backs and when shielding the ball. Sort it!
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I think when we make a 'big' signing in the summer and the pressure moves from Sterling and on to them (whoever I may be) then we'll see an improved Sterling. He doesn't deal well at all with the pressure being purely on him.

You spelt Cunt wrong for starters....there's no B in Cunt !

I think I agree with that.

TBF, I think it bugs me because I noticed these things in one game and then I can't get it out of my head. It's like an annoying voice or something similar that's not annoying until it suddenly hits you.

He's contributed a lot during the season and it's not like the rest of the squad is performing stellarly. But he is sloppy, there's no denying it.

Took me a bit to recover to even want to talk about this travesty of a match. After the half I was really wanting them to rally, and with Norwich basically stalling, running the clock and playing to be happy with tied oughts it wasn't looking good so I was already disheartened...

You're dead on, Kompany put in the time and effort; Silva was after the ball like it owed him money. If my boy Yaya hadn't had a bum heel and been running along with them it might have gone different. Those three put some spirit into it most days when they're together.
