Getting CL next year should take priority with the club this year, I agree. I'd go out of the competition next Tuesday for a guarantee of top three in the league.
This summer's trading will be hugely important for the next step in our journey to the top of the world. That is what needs to be protected. We will not win the CL with the present bunch, anyway.
Someone high up at the club needs to do whatever it takes now to get this crowd motivated in the league. Starting with the rags.

Silva is hardly ripping up trees since returning from his ankle injury either and is being targeted by the opposition. However along with De Bruyne's return we should be fine for a top 3 finish.
