its currently live on BT Sport 1. Brisbane scored a good goal, but it came from Thomas Sorenson messing up and giving a corner and then they score from a shot outside the box, from the resulting corner. Sorenson is shocking, truly shit.
Looked at the league and Brisbane are top and MCFC are 4th but only 3 points separate the top 4. MCFC can go top with a win.
MCFC Should have had a penalty, the commentator said....and I quote " That was a stone wall penalty, Melbourne must feel really aggrieved , I cannot believe they have only been given 2 penalties all season, thats the 3rd stone wall penalty in the last 3 weeks that has not been given and the ref has even booked the french lad for diving"
Looks like its a global epidemic :-)

1-1 now (54 mins) MCFC with a stone wall penalty given this time after a lovely turn by Bruno Fornaroli (who looks a decent player) and the defender puled hi back and was already on a yellow so his night is over. Brisbane down to 10 and Melbourne are now dominating.
Fornaroli isnt the penalty taker, but he has scored 20 in 23 games so far this season.

Fornaroli with the free kick, he looks decent, but looking at his wiki page, he has done nothing until this season and he is 28

That striker looks tasty. The FK was never in doubt in his mind

Good win against my home team.
What did you think of Aaron Mooy lads? He and Forniroli are the stars of the show.

yeah he was the glue in the team, everything went through him. I liked the way he wanted the ball all the time ala Silva

Top of the league on goal difference. Two tough games to go. The side had a convincing win last night without their best player. Noel Gallagher was at the game too.
Consider that two seasons ago the team finished bottom before the takeover. Great stuff and a real joy to watch. They play with a defensive steel now too, to go with their free scoring prowess.

Mooy scored a great goal for Australia against Jordan tonight. I would love to see this guy at City next season. He would make a great replacement for Silva (once he moves on - I love Dave !) under the guidance of Pep. And to think he was once a Bolton player !!
As for Fornaroli who might be 28 and only started shining now, but if he would have been at City this season instead of Bony we would have been in a much better position. He is a natural goal scorer and scores some great goals from all positions.
At least there is one City sitting on top of the league currently !!
