Up at 6 to watch F1 and it's going to be a long day until KO. I've gone for a win but as we know, anything can happen in a Derby.

We've done well against the Rags since the Sick Swan, only losing in the Nasri-gate saga.

Everybody should be up for this and with us both playing midweek, there'll be no real advantage for either team, apart from the fact that our central defence will have to change again.

One concern for me is the ref. With Michael Oliver officiating I can see the likes of BogBrush getting away with murder as the lad has no spine. Hoping Zab's is playing and gets his own back.

Still, Come on the Blues!!!

I think this is more of 'mustn't lose' game, looking at the table, but Pellers doesn't do that defensive shit so we must at least score the same as them.

Want to see,
Hart
Sagna, Ota, Mangler, Clichy.
F1, F2.
Dave, Yaya, Sterling.
Sergio.

But he will probably start Navas for Sterling.

Anybody heard if Otamendi is fit for this? If Demi plays my whole opinion of the game will change.

No. I looked for news on his fitness test and nothing is out there

It was 'reported' by a few he was fit. Hope he is.

I know Pellers mentioned about his injury but was unsure if he said he cwas good to go.

Rather than Demi, I'd prefer to see Sagna or even that young lad who played against Chelsea.

Just looked at Oliver's stats and noticed this is the first league game he'll officiate for us. He ref'd the COC final where I thought he was pretty gash and it felt like we were playing against 12 men. He also took control of this fixture last year where he gave Smallthing an early bath.

Looks like he's not keen on either club as he also sent off Tia Maria last season when they played Arsenal as well as officiating the 2-1 home loss for the Rags ypto Norwich.

Feeling a little easier about this appointment now.

More important not to lose rather than to win today. A win is obviously the best outcome but a defeat would be worse in terms of the top 4. A boring 1-1 I feel.

Getting the 11:36 train from Wigan in to Piccadilly then working my way down in whatever pubs I walk past to the stadium. Or I might just get a few tins for my walk to Mary D's. Absolutely steaming by the time I get in the stadium cause I can't cope with the nerves.

Safe day to all blues going!
