Well well, this week Lawro actually has a City fan as his opponent, wonders will never cease. Also both Lawro and Merson do not think we will win!!

Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures are Jim Glennie and Saul Davies of indie band James.
Bassist Glennie is a Manchester City fan from Moss Side with fond childhood memories of Maine Road.
Glennie told BBC Sport: "For some reason they used to open the main exit gates at half-time, so a load of us kids just used to wait and get in for free.
"I do miss Maine Road, it is hard to leave the nostalgia behind and remember the harsh realities of some of the rougher edges of a venue like that but it was an amazing place with so much history.
"You have to start that again when you move somewhere else. It was difficult when we went to Etihad Stadium in 2003 - the atmosphere was odd. It has taken a long time, but it is much better now."


Guitarist Davies is a Barcelona fan who fell in love with the late Johan Cruyff's team twice - once when he watched him as a player at Anfield in 1976 and then when he saw the team he managed at the Nou Camp in the 1990s.
Davies explained: "That game at Anfield was a turning point in my life really because I was suddenly able to touch something that felt very far away when I lived in the north of Scotland and didn't have a TV - everything came through the radio - but suddenly it was there in front of me.
"I stopped going to football in the 1980s because the atmosphere at games got really nasty. I got into music and girls instead.
"Then I moved to Barcelona because of a girl and her brother asked me to go to the Nou Camp to watch a pre-season game. Cruyff had amazing players like Romario and Hristo Stoichkov in his team and the reasons I loved football came flooding back."

Bournemouth are safe and will have a real go at City, whose form has been horrendous on the road.

After winning their first three away games of the season, Manuel Pellegrini's side have taken just 11 points from a possible 33 on the road, and have scored only seven goals in their last 11 away games.

The way City are playing at the moment, it is hard to see them improving on that too much at Vitality Stadium.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

James' prediction: The way City are playing anything could happen, but I think we will squeak it. 1-2

This should be a good game. Bournemouth were well beaten at Tottenham last time out but have been doing well otherwise recently. Man City have some hard games coming up and are fighting for their lives to get in the top four now. One minute they are trying to win the league, now they are fighting for the top four.

It's a hard game for City and I don't think they will make the top four at the end of the season. I worry about them, what a nightmare it would be if Pep Guardiola comes and they are not in the Champions League.

I think they're wrong because I think we'll lose. The majority of the Bournemouth team have had 2 weeks off while ours have been flying around the world on friendlies.

If Eddie Howe has any sense he'll just do the same old and press us at every point and once they get the ball, hit us with pace.

Simple tactics but effective against us.

I've gone for a 1-1 in the Predictors League, but - as I've done every weekend sine November - I secretly hope that this is the weekend when we will turn our season around.

Nail head for me Beefy . Sad state of affairs with the talent we have That we are worried about going to Bournmouth . It's just plain fucking wrong . We should have title nerves right now wondering if this might be a banana skin that we have to be careful about full attention etc . Not for one minute going there hoping for a draw .

I used my safety chip on our game. Can't outright bet against us...

I don't think anyone, even many City fans seem to be picking us to win this game. I heard Barry Glendenning on the Football Weekly Podcast say it is basically a given we will not win this match.

Lawro made fine valid points, so did's kaw means he will be wrong and we will win. Hard to get excited about this game though.

As for Merson, Pep's arrival will hardly be a disaster, CL or not.

Dont know why but i think we will win this fairly comfortably. Can see why folks predict us not to win though.

I think we will win because we have to.
The players will not want to lose out on 4th - to much at stake for to many of them.
