Ref Watch - Rob Madley

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Ref Watch - Rob Madley

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Apr 02, 2016 8:47 am

Thought I'd do this as a separate thread as I'd like to see how he does today. We've all seen him officiate and as this is the fifth time for us this season, I'd like to note the calls he makes, good or bad, for both teams.

This is not specifically related to us as we may just play shit, or even play them off the field, it's more to do with how the young referee is getting on.

Personally I think he's been shit and doesn't command anything other than Sunday league football, and I'd be dubious of that. His decision making is questionable and he usually gets the big calls wrong, or fails to notice them. How he keeps getting games I really don't know.

Your thoughts on him, good or bad?

Silva will be kicked up and down with this twat waving advantage and stopping it when we are 3 v 1. First class twat of a ref, who likes to make it up as he goes.

I think it's astounding he is refereeing games at this level. He stinks.

Good to see I'm not the only one Haze.

And, again, although I don't think Bournemouth are a dirty team, they will be given licence to kick are creative players and if there is a call to make in the box, he'll deem it OK, even though the kung fu kick will near take Aguero head off.

His decisions v West Ham at home saw the flow interrupted that for me was bent. He sees us breaking through and bang free kick. Cunt.

That game was annoying and I had the same feelings. However, the blatant penalty on Navas away at Everton, which wasn't given, confirmed to me that he is playing the game for his bosses. In the games we won, Norwich and Swansea, it was exactly the same where he seemed to allow all sorts to go on unless it was us, and then the card came out or the play was pulled back.

It's not just for us though, I've seen him in other games and he seems to see the game completely different to everybody else.

So we can try the rag trick of three players blocking the goalies view in offside positions for our free kicks ?

But that wasn't offside according to some of the media, even though we all know it affected the play. It's the narrative that the media lay on that dictates how the game is ref'd.

He hasn't reffed a Leicester game this season, which in some part explains their good form. He's dogshit shit.

As Jimmy Greaves used to say, it's a funny old game.

Obviously the FA/PL don't need him to interfere with their season or, indeed, help them out. They have others who can do that.

He's completely shit even when he is trying to be honest, which let's face is not when he refs us.

Are you saying there maybe something fishy about his calls?

I concede it is possible that I may have insinuated something of that nature.

What, that he's a fucking cheating twat?

Probably the only answer mate, nobody can get things that wrong. But you know, he could show us a different side today.

Do you know something, mate? I deleted those exact words from my first post before clicking "submit".

I'd be happy to be wrong and see him get every call right today. That's all anyone wants of a ref, unless they have got a face made of bacon.
