I'm starting to like what I see from alan partridges son - breaking up play and contributing to our attack nicely - certainly making himself a good albeit expensive squad option next season

Thats another defensive midfielder who only shows his worth once one foot out the door ala Javi Garcia!

Cant see it been enough to keep him around, i dont believe Pep plays with this sort of defensive midfielder, if i could sign one player it would be Busquets(outside of messi and tranny), he is the type of player we are crying out for.

Don't think his passing is good enough but we'll see.

Is £12million considered expensive for a squad player?

Truly awful footballer who is a waste of a shirt. Complete club foot who provides nothing, thwarts our attacking play and makes us no better defensively.

Played his part the other night, maybe this run of games is his start or swansong. Could not fault his display and the way he got at Di Maria when required.

I have not once seen him do anything that a more skilful player could not do as well.

2nd player out of the door for me no prizes guessing who's the first one.

how could he when the player he replaced in Javi Garcia was probably twice the player? And Javi wasn't good enough either.

Time to sort this role with an actual player or an academy lad instead of this pound shop 12-15M horseshit we seem willing to spend on.

cheers

Get off the fence Doomie. Would you keep him or not?

Pass me some of that good stuff, bro.

Garcia had a flash few games at the end of his time with us. Otherwise, slower, less quality on the ball, and not even as good a tackler. Better in the air, but maybe that's it.

Nando has had more games of value, and was carrying an injury all last season. He isn't Yaya with the ball, and I agree can be poorer under some pressure, but has saved us and created chances with his pressing in some key moments/games. He is a bit of a flat track bully with his attacking ability, as I recall he had a few very good performances during the League/FA cup runs against lower opposition.

DM your judgement is sliding off a cliff. First saying Raheem had nothing to do with us in the CL and now saying Javi was better than Fernando. That's like saying Demi has been better than Mangala this season.

Fernando will not be here for the start of the 2017 season, possibly not even the 2016 season. He is a good player. For us to progress we need better than that. He is ok at what he does but his repertoire is limited. We need guys who can do a multitude of tasks and slot into different styles. If that means signing Gundogan for £30m, expensive though that may be, then that is what we will do. Delph is the better "squad" player. So is Garcia. Or maybe Bryan. You know either of those EDS boys will be better than him in two years anyway so we msg as well cash in and give some young lads the experience now

anyway, Raheem didn't feature in getting us into the semi, so that was my basic point.

Also, i'm not wrong about Javi...he was ace towards the end and turning into a Spanish Gaz Baz. So fuck off.
