I see the BT Sport chief has had to apologise. Useless. They hate us with a passion.

Also think that will be the case.

Agreed. I think playing Kompany will be a mistake, I hope I'm wrong.

In the same boat. Kept clean sheets vs chelsea & PSG (not comfortably though), then Kompany looked spaztastic when he returned vs newcastle. Plus, Otter has experience vs Real from playing in La Liga.

1. Does vinny return?
2. Navas or Sterling?

Hart

Sagna kompany Mangala Clichy

Fernandinho Fernando

Navas KDB Silva

Aguero

This would be my starting 11

Subs
Willy
Sterling
Iheanacho
Otamendi
Zaba
Delph
Bony/kolarov

That's a good shout. I might go with the same starting 11, but I have a feeling Pelle is going to swap Navas for Sterling. He's been out a while, but so was KDB and he came right back into the side.

Tough decision about who will be the 7th sub. Thinking Nico could make way for Kola and Bony since you could always shift Sanga to centre back and add Zaba or Kolarov depending on if we feel we need a goal or not.

I actually think Bony will be left out, and probably should, although that pass to Nacho reminds us of what he can offer.

Bit giddy!!!!! Bring em on.

Komps on bench for me let the Otter n' mangle partnership continue!!!! Rather not see Sterling start either, impact sub when legs are going.

Torn on the inclusion of Kompany. He is a leader and stats show we play better defensively with him. But, i feel a major fuck up is on the cards with Kompany somehow

I think Vincent sometime gets too hyped up for big games, causing his to make a mistake or pull something (or both at the same time). He is our captain and a monster on his day. Also just seen though that he's come out again in the media saying City players "Need to play the best games of our careers". Too often his bullish rallying cries backfire and we're left with egg on our face.

If he's in great, but my gut would prefer otherwise.

I think Jesus has earned his place in the starting line up personally, he did well against PSG (well enough anyway), Sterling as impact sub will work if he stays on his feet until he at least gets in the box!

His form and fitness aside, my worries are the free-kicks he is prone to give away around the box and the fact he tends to pick up cards defending in the right-back position. Against the tranny this could be a disaster (in both situations).

Proper glory hunter, not been to any of the games this season bit going tonight and taking the kids (who so far have seen us knocked out by Hamburg and Barca in their Euro games). Not sat in usual seats, so will be wandering up and down aisles aimlessly.

Might get myself a half and half scarf and be done with it.
