I agree with him though. If that'd been Clichy and he hadn't taken the foul after fucking it up, I'd be insane.

We're still in it. Could be worse we didn't play half as well second half. Think we missed being able to bring Yaya on.

Roll on next week.

We can't complain really can we? 0 - 0 half way through a Champions League semi final!

Still well in the tie. Would have been great to score and win the game but I do fancy us to score over there and if big Joe is on fire we have a chance. Plus KDB and Kun can't be as ineffective again, surely.

90 minutes from the final in a one off game. Still believing

Against RM you need every single player to be able to defend when the time comes...........Toure cannot defend or beat a player with a header to save his fuckign life....he can only turn it on in flashes...not good enough against the lieks of RM.

Pellegrini played the right team...they all defended when necesary and overall im happy with a 0-0....IMO we have a good chance now.

I will take this score, best bad result we could hope for.

We played really good on the back. Kompany was a rock, it shows how important he is when fit, while Otter was something else, maybe his best game here so far.

I would give a shout to Fernando and Joe, both were the best City players tonight in my opinion. I don't know if we will qualify, I think we might not, but I am sure we are going to give them a hell of a game there.

Don't want to see yaya anywhere within 100 miles of Madrid next week.
Play the same team, bar silva who's probably out, we still have a chance over there.

If he was on the bench, he would have been an option for kdb and/or either of the ferns who were blowing out of their arses and contributing nothing defensively by the end. Not a starter next week by any means, but he would have been a quality option from the bench that wouldn't have weakened us, and would have made us more direct.

Hence why I put bringing him on from the bench Carl. Certainly would not want him starting due to not having the legs anymore. Do however think he could have done something in the last twenty minutes.

Anyways why are you so calm? Did you have a ride half way through tonights game? You seem strangely chilled!

Not too bad, we lost our threat after Silva went off, lacking the final ball and RM had the better chances. Still in it, but I think it will be a completely different game, and not in our favour, in Madrid.

Bale needs to cut his hair and quit falling over. By and large the ref did well.

We looked like we have finally started to learn how to play in Europe, just in time for Pep.

This is all set for Bony to come off the bench and score the winner in Madrid.

I watched it in a bar in Malta, the difference in the commentary on whatever channel it was and the usual BT shite was immense.
Basically said City were best first half, and Madrid best second half, and overall a good result for City. None of the snide comments and bitter shite.
It was very refreshing.
And it's nice and warm here..

not to start but as an option on the bench absolutely. he's our big game player and if we're desperate imo he is our best back up plan if we end up in trouble. IF we need Yaya next week it's a gamble but we do need him as an option
