Pellers presser (Southampton)

quotes from the press conference

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed David Silva will miss Manchester City’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu because of a hamstring injury.

“David Silva has a small hamstring injury so he will not be fit for this week. He needs 2-3 weeks to recover,” he said.

But there’s better news for City regarding Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri.

Pellegrini added: “Yaya Toure starts working today. We’ll see if he’s fit on Wednesday.

“Samir Nasri worked this week without a problem - he will be in the squad list for Sunday.”

WW has a virus. A 'disease', like Denzil!

Blimey if Yaya plays we are fucked.

Haha, good summation.

Is it the FA or Premier League that is responsible for fixtures?

MEN have a headline that says silva hurt his ankle again but then report the hamstring injury via Pellegrini.

Technically if he's out 3 weeks that's the rest of the season unless we are in the CL final, as they also write.

And why the FA won't move our game is really madness. What is their argument?

Both I think ? And one can over rule the other if circumstances arise . It's only us though so neither give a fuck .

Could you imagine Yaya scoring in both Semi and the final winners? I'm dreaming it already!
