I'm trying to think of anyone we've signed in the last few years who has improved as a player

That's a blinding question that I'd love Txiki Begiristain to see.
The only one I can come up with is Kelechi Iheanacho but of course it's arguable that he was always this good.

I'm still wondering why he was ever appointed as Manager in the first place. Surely there must have been someone better who was available. Bobby was unpopular with the players, so much so that they didn't turn to play in the final against Wigan which got him sacked. But he was right to claim that the team who then won the league were his players.
I'll give Pellers one thing - he was right to persist in signing Kevin de Bruyne.

I don't know whether we can say he's improved because England and Ukraine are chalk and cheese, but Fernandinho has been a phenomenal signing. Expensive, yes, but not an obvious buy and well worth the money.

Now now User, stop with this Wigan FA Cup unsinn.
Apparently Roberto was told his time was up before FA Cup final day .

Is that signing poor players or poor coaching once we've got them? Guess next season will tell us

He's been doing this for Wolfsburg for the past season and a half. Nothing to suggest an upturn in performances

My question is who scouts these players, and thinks they will integrate into our squad? Because most of them are either fucking useless or just stealing money from our club by not being arsed. And dont forget the likes of earlier players weve shipped out.
Take sterling and navas non of them take a player on never finds a team mate and usually especially in sterlings casr does the easy option and pass backwards.
I would rather see Roberts playing he takes players on and most times gives an end product. With more experience in our team he will be a good player

Well some scouts must be alright as they spotted Roberts, Nacho and some of the younger promising lads

Kompany comes to mind. Definitely improved with us. Ferd 1. Even the mangela has improved this season.
Our signings under pellers have been very hit and miss though.

Hart, Zabaletta was pretty average in his first season.

Yaya has to count as well. He was great at Barcelona but he has been world class over here. From 2011 to 2014, one of the best footballers in the world.
