We have had many chances this year to try some of the younger players
But he only tried nacho
Pellers is a true gent lol
But I don't think he is as good a manager as some people think

What could and possibly should have been the greatest night in the clubs history now feels empty. I can take defeat as well as the next man, if we have been beaten by the better side. But we don't even know if we have been beaten by a better side as we didn't even turn up. That's what hurts

Manager hasn't got a clue and the players couldn't give a shit.

I can't see the Arsenal game being any different. The players can't wait for the season to end. I think they ran out of belief and they are knackered.

Sad but true. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
Looking on the bright side we can turn to......Nasri.

A clean slate next season but the players aren't doing themselves any favours for the future.

As a fan I can take us getting beat by a better team, what I can take is our players not looking like they give two shits and looking like they don't wont to work for anything. Do they think that they can just turn up and teams will roll over and have their tummies tickled?

This season I have seen us struggle against Swansea, Norwich, WBA, Leicester, Saints, Liverpool, Spurs and a shit Manchester United. All some of these teams had to do was just run a bit harder. Why have they stopped working? Is it a mental thing or just down to not caring anymore?

You 1-0 down in the biggest game of your history and we have no plan B. Any other team last night would have slung a CB up front and just had a go. We weren't even cable of going route one which is what most teams would have done last night. I am just perplexed by the whole thing and very angry. Our season seemed to stop after five games and that's just not acceptable for a club with our ambition. I just want this season done probably like the vast majority of blues. We have stank the place out this season.

Well said Andie and it's still not over as I am expecting more of the same on Sunday against probably the biggest bottlers of the last 10 years.

9, as Agüero was running around in the defensive half of the pitch trying to get hold of the ball. He's not playing well at the moment, and probably hasn't since about two months back, but he gave it his best shot IMO.

But I agree, I thought they did look like they give a damn but they were just met by a better team. But I don't like how people paint a picture where we didn't stand a chance, as both the Real Madrid players and fans breathed a collective sigh of relief once the ref blew the whistle.

We did have a chance but when your match winners have such poor games then that chance diminishes fairly quickly.

Agree.

And we've been lacking the team work to make up for slumps by our star players a long while now. Everyone seems to be doing their own thing and hoping that the rest will catch on. Even a team like Real Madrid, a team known for always having internal divisions in the squad, were far superior than us in team work and team effort. I don't know if we've had a game plan that we've executed well for a long time now. It's weird.
