Who is going to be?

Guardiola had Puyol and Lahm, real leaders. Who the fuck he is going to pick from this bunch of ... players?

I only see Joe, but he is not a leader. Tried it, did not work that good.

No doubt, maybe not next season but down the line.

I try not to post when I'm this down, but -

I think Pep has got a real job on his hands come June (or whenever he arrives).

Never mind what's going on with the manager, those players on the pitch tonight might never get that opportunity again regardless of which team they play for, and that was the effort they put in?!?!

I'm embarrassed tonight, 50% effort at best from our so called world class squad in what is arguably our most important game in recent history.

See you all next season as it will only get worse on Sunday......

I like him for it, but yeah definitely after he's more seasoned.

We're going to have to buy one as there isn't one at the club.

Impossible.

Imagine having a new guy who is an instant captain in that dressing room of primadonnas.

Not a fan of irony, I take it.

There won't be many of those primadonnas left in the dressing room by August

let`s face it, we are not going to sell 10 and bring in 10 new players.

Something I would normally shoot down in flames, but currently something I'd definitely consider.

Vinny as much as I love (barring injuries) clearly needs a long time trying to get to the bottom his recurring injuries at the wrong time in his career which now looks all but done.

Yaya and Zabba, more than likely gone in summer, or become part players.

Joe, as much as I love him, keeper as captain has never really sat with me.

Fernandhino for me would be a great vice captain, deputising when needed but as full time Captain, I fear he'd turn into Kit Symons?

Perhaps new manager, new captain is the right time?

We're fucking spineless, mate. We need to throw our youngsters in as they actually give a fuck or buy one off the peg. I feel sorry for Pep taking over this bunch of cunts.

Erm, I was agreeing with you, albeit long winded. Are you suggesting making one of the youngsters captain? New Captain from outside the club to come with Pep to convey his ethos is probably the way forward, but a vice captain from within such as fernandhino? The question mark is to invite debate as to whether he or another existing player would be suitable as a VC

ERM, I know you were agreeing with me. You disagreed with me on another thread when I said we had no shots on target and you said you could remember at least two. I've asked you to name them once and now I'm asking you to name them again. ERM

Too raw to be captain. The same with any other EDS player at this stage. Hart or Fernandinhio might be a good choices but their own game might suffer with the added responsibility.
