I cannot remember being this underwhelmed - the football overall this season has been shocking. The stats will tell us that he won the micky mouse cup and got to the SF of the CL,but lets not kid ourselves - we have been fuckign dire most of the season and have ended with a paltry amount of points.
Pep has been left a squad that needs overhauling,5 players at least, some he can improve but a fair few need shipping out....like most of the defence.
Thank you Pellegrini , and thank City for showing you the door.

We have a new manager who's world class coming in and will see quite a few players hated shown the door. Looking forward to the summer and next season.

What being a City fan thought me is to stand and support your manager.
I did it with Pearce, Sven, Mancio, Royle, Pellers and even Hughes.
This year was something of a nightmare, but by our new standards. That being said, I am looking forward for this summer, a new road, a new manager and maybe a new level.
Thank you, Pellers, thank you some of the players. Those who will stay need to pay a huge debt towards the fans next year.

Guaranteed out:
Bony
Yaya
Kolarov
Zabaleta
Probably out:
Mangala
That's 5 right there. Then some others on the fence.
Possibly out:
Navas
Much less likely than possibly:
Nico
Nasri
Hart
Fernando

The league cup win was excellent. We fully deserved it and put in some great performances en route to the final. We played brilliantly in the final and should have won comfortably. But beating Liverpool on penalties was great and it was great for Willy to have his day in the sun.
I enjoyed the CL for the first time this season. We took it seriously and deserved our spot in the semi finals. But we were massively disappointing against Real Madrid.
The league is the most important thing and our performances can only be described as shambolic. We lost 10 matches and didn't beat a side in the top 6 (and barely beat a side in the top 10). Furthermore, we were hammered on so many occasions. We have declined in all areas over the last 2 years and Pellegrini's limitations as a manager have been clearly exposed. It's been painful to watch us this season and I, for one, am glad he's leaving.

An ok season but must do better and there is plenty of room for improvement. Manager and players are at fault for our stuttering league campaign but they won a trophy and a good run in the Champions League although the semi final performance was very disappointing.

If success just means winning the League cup and getting to the SF of the CL and scraping into 4th spot in the league year after year , then I wouldnt watch it.....ever.
I want to see City make us stand up and cheer and for the players to show passion and attitude,...thank fuck Pep has history of making this happen.I cant wait for next season, its going to be fuckign amazing.

Taking my City specs off and putting my level headed specs on for a moment, lb for lb we are worse as a squad now than under Mancini - I want to know who is ultimately responsible for that, and I don't want it to happen any more.

I did my cheering and standing up when we were shit mate....for many years.
I live under a coconut tree thousands of miles away now.....................but I do still convert some peasants from around the caribbean into supporting City - I do my bit.
You cannot get any fairer than that.

Last season doesn't matter.
In the words of Scarlett O'Hara - tomorrow is another day.
Or rather next season...............

Crap season..
Lost count of the amount of times I had my palm on my face watching this shambles.
We fluked it into the champs league this season and fluked it to a cup win. From the outside it looks like a decent year but to us who watched it all... we know different.
Thank god Pep is coming.

Frustrating season overall.
But we qualified for CL again, made headway in CL this year and have a pot.
It could and should've been better but it could have been a whole lot worse.
Let's all laugh at the rags.
