Another injury prone fucker. Class, but you cannot play him three games in a row.

I am arsed that we seem that we are not learning from our mistakes. Next is Sanchez, another class player that is available 25 from 60 games per season. Add those two to Kompany, Zabs, Delph, Silva, Nasri and Sergio and we can fuck off.

If we get him, milk the fuckers. Pay 10 and pay another 10 if he stays fit.

Agree re Gundogan but Alexis has 40,50,50 appearances in his last three seasons.

40 last season, 50 odd the season before and the same the season before.

I was convinced he played around 70 games for Arsenal since he came, but I think those stats were only from the League, which is, as you said, good.

Bring the fucker then.

Sanchez has been given a new squad number. My gooner mate reckons that means he's going nowhere. Hmmm

Which we will be hearing all summer given two of our likely targets.

Just to answer the question, he had a back injury which he recovered from and was performing very well this season until the dislocated knee.

These are not the same type of muscle injuries that have plagued some of our key players, or ligament injuries to a knee or ankle (like Silva) that causes chronic problems.

However, back injuries are a red flag to me in other sports, as I think those injuries tend to have been known to take explosiveness away. Yet, he seems to be have done well since coming back. It's a risky move, but with his talents this is not a terrible risk given what is available and how he will fit in with what Pep wants (tough, good with the ball, creative, high work rate). Bony may be sold for £15m, are asking for the same for Yaya apparently, and we are getting a better player compared to either for £20m.

The thought of him and Aguero in the same team is making me cream myself

He's technically better and more creative than De Jong ever was. He's not a traditional holding midfield player in the same sense. I'd say he's more similar to Fernandinho in that he works hard with and without the ball. I think he's probably a better passer, but perhaps not quite as strong.

Not at all. I'd compare him to Cazorla, personally.

any links for this sanchez rumour??? fwiw i hope there's no truth in it. (1) talented but a show pony who often goes missing and/or constantly loses the ball - will frustrate the fuck out of the fans (2) hits the deck a LOT and (3) gave us the v sign when he signed for barca.

....................where, incidentally, he was very unpopular with the fans. I remember poking about on a Barca website before we played them in the CL, and one or two said if Sanchez was picked it was like playing with 10 men.
