Looking forward to this. Poland should easily see them off, but everyone loves the plucky underdog.

I think they're going to get hammered, but I really want them to win.

I liked them a lot in the qualifiers, Lafferty was a beast.

But they are very bad on the back.

I have to say I quite like Poland, for reasons absolutely unknown to me. I think it's Football Manager's fault.

I liked Poland when I could sign Lewandowski from Dortmund for next to nothing, but now he's at a real team he's a lot more expensive.

The only memory I took away from the 86 world cup was...well the one we can't get away from to this day.

Northern Ireland have done nothing but hold position. They've offered nothing else.
Poland are getting frustrated, but do you know what. Michael O'Neill won't give a toss. That's what they do.
0-0 or steal a goal from a set piece. That's what they do and have been doing it well.
I'm walking the dog for the second half though. Can't watch it. I'll save my threshold of that sort of football for our own shower tomorrow against Sweden.

Theyll need to either play 4-4-2 v ukraine or try to get someone much closer to lafferty from midfield.im not a fan of the system they play..too much hinges on the first goal. I understand you have to play within your limitations and o'neill made solid subs(yes woy) but unless your wingbacks are top draw you arent getting enough ball into lafferty from wide areas
