Of course Vardy didn't know Williams was going to head it, so he was yards offside and is a lucky git

If that's not offside, the rule is a fucking joke. Glad we scored, but that's fucked up.

Why? It's the same thing as a striker intercepting a back pass to the keeper

That's clearly on, even by the new rules.

Because that's exactly what it isn't the same as. A back pass is deliberate, that just luckily came off his 50p head and fell to the player. If an attacker plays the ball forward and it skims the defender, then that's given as offside, I see this as more similar to that scenario than a deliberate back pass.

To be a bit far, my only criticism would be talking off the very active Lallana. Shrek has been ok but surely he'll be shagged out soon?

Intention has nothing to do with it. And it didn't skim off his head, the ball completely changed direction. Just like if a defender meant to clear the ball, but sliced it sideways to the striker. All pretty straight forward

There's a team in this group of players, just a headless chicken for a manager. Get a manager with a bit of balls and half an understanding of tactics and England would be odds on to reach the semifinals

Sturridge is 100 times better than Kane. When fit. Right, I'm off to switch my deal to Energy of Azerbaijan
