Euro 2016: England v Iceland

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Euro 2016: England v Iceland

Postby Beefymcfc » Mon Jun 27, 2016 5:38 pm

Got to have its own thread. Don't know what to expect tonight but looking forward to it all the same.

I read Raheem will be starting tonight and after all the bad press I hope he sticks it right up their arses.

That's not the games I've seen mate, we've always been going forward.

Very disappointed Sterling us in. He is on a hiding to nothing tonight. Iceland will simply have two banks of five and there won't be any space for him to exploit which is a big part of his game. A much better option off the bench when the game is stretched

Why did Milner featured so little so far in the tournament?

Didn't he find his spot at scouse after having so much trouble and being unhappy for 5 years?

Correct, it doesn't make sense considering their tactics but they'll need a scapegoat if it all goes wrong. Even if Raheem scored a hat-trick, set up 3 more and acrobatically stopped 3 on our line there'd still be some cunt complaining about the colour of his boots, noting that Wiggy's look far more stylish.

That was fucking shite from sterling. I know he thinks he's got something to prove, but he needs to learn pass. He does shit like that at city.

Hope Sterling has shut them up. Not sure why Shrek was making a triangle at the sky after his penalty......

Ffs. Why is Kylie Walker in? Clyne was far better at rb.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.
