Euro 2016: England v Iceland

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Well done Iceland, well deserved

Bye Woy, bye Wooney, that was absolutely fucking pathetic from the manager, and pathetic from the team second half.

One saving grace, Sterling wasn't there to see that shit. Taking him off changed the game and if the management had seen that he took at leat 3 players, sometimes up to 5, then they'd have used that to open the space.

It's easier for the FA to allow a young kid to take the brunt of the issues, without backing. This time though, the outcome cannot be attributed elsewhere, they're fucking inept.

Kane Alli dier Rooney Sturridge all crap. Sterling not much better but got a goal.

I think our problem is complete lack of creativity in the centre. Really really poor stuff.

Well done to Iceland. Their first half performance was brilliant.

In the second half they were completely at ease.

Good luck in the next round!

Having said that, well done Iceland!!!

Wait one, he fucked off down the tunnel,, did he come back for the final walk around as Raheem did?

There was no plan, none at all!

I can't fucking believe I'm going to be late to work for that...
I love an underdog story...and good for Iceland were they against anyone else...
It broke my goddamn heart to see the boys lying on the field after full time was called.
They knew what they did. How disgraceful a display that was. They were mortified.
Torn up over it.

Something about being English and a football fan. Go figure.

Watch game > act surprised that they play shit > watch next game > act surprised that they play shit

Repeat ad infinitum

Some would say that's pretty certifiable behaviour - at least in city's dark days we accepted we were shit!

I see, that's how it works. I work it that I'm from Manchester, therefore support the Gods own. Moving up, I'm from England, so support Gods own. Moving on, I support GB, so support Gods own. The 2nd two may have pushed it a bit with Gods own but you get the drift.

Personally I wouldn't be in a thread giving it large, taking the piss out of your City supporting mates if I didn't give a shit. I'd be doing something more purposeful mate, like sorting Europe out.

Thanks for the advice, as it happens, I was having a very purposeful sleep before I inconveniently woke up for a piss, and saw there was a full scale national meltdown going on whilst I had a quick browse over a sit down wee. I'm still a bit sleepy to sort Europe out just now, but I'll give it some thought in the morning.

NB, I do feel sorry for those of you who genuinely feel passion for the England football team for what they put you through. Bunch of cunts

The big question is:

Will Wiggy do a Messi and retire or will he hang on for the money?

Blues know that he was never interested in the England team when Taggart was involved, it was all about the Rags and money.

Even though 2 players in Sergio and Messi have retired who could beat him on 1 leg

Apologies mate, not seen your name too many times but fucking really? You feel that 5 up front with 2 basic geriatrics in midfield,, conceding from the basics and allowing 3 of your seemingly game changers to have 10 minutes of pre-championship match play is a good idea I think you are barm cakes.

The players can be blamed Nate but fuck me, that was the most embarrassing exit I've ever seen.

Ps. The FA gave far more to answer for.
