Posted: Tue Jul 05, 2016 7:50 pmI used to hand around Maine Road and Platt Lane during the school holidays, watching the training, collecting autographs, taking photos of the players, and generally getting in the way.
My abiding memory of Jimmy Frizzell was that he always had time to talk to us and say hello, not all members of the City staff at the time were so willing to do that, so it was really appreciated.
RIP Mr Frizzell, you were a true gent.
