Bellerin

I've seen several sources linking us to him. Thoughts?

Supposedly we would offer Denayer + ££

even though Arsenal have sold us players before I can't see this happening unless we offer stupid money.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Would absolutely love him and he stinks of a Pep player, but I can't see Arsenal letting him go. He'll end up going back to Barca at some point.

What's his contract situation? It's a bit of a persistant rumour this one. I'm sure it would be a straight fee though :-)

Wishful thinking. The cost will be huge and I think he would really only leave, or Arsenal sell, to Barca right now.

wouldnt swap with Denayer

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

For £10+m I'd let Denayer go regardless of whether or not we got Bellerin. At best he will be a squad player and we will have more of those coming through to replace him in the next few years and £10m is a good price. Put it towards a bona fide first team player

I'd take Bellerin now unless Maffeo is ready this season. Zabs is off perhaps and Sagna will hit a decline sooner or later, although I have to be thinking he has another season in him at least.

Not saying we will have a top notch full back. More that we are likely to have a Denayer equivalent, ie a squad player. Someone who is good enough to fill in and help with rotation but not a first choice. If we do nurture a top class full back then brilliant, that's a bonus

nope, mate.
I concede it s a borderline opinion, but i m convinced Denayer has much more potential to be nurtured upon Pep.
also agree with general point made by nottsblue: key issues are others, starting from a world class pairs of CB, or at least one (Bonucci, since option a has failed) to be lined with the "fingers crossed on" Vinnie resurrection.
