Passing looks much more decisive compared to last season - even with some of the same players.

I love Pep but wouldn't want to walk past him in a darkened alley... just saying.

nice positive starts by the youngsters, particularly impressed by mafeo composure.
kola tried to drop one of his trademark bollox on first ball. yet again, since that season ending effortless shite, he shouldnt wear a blue kit anymore.

Cheers buddy, got myself a nice German stream with single commentator, not this BT crap with every man and his dog getting a say.

As for the game, enjoyed the first 30 as you can see what Pep is trying to do but when we got caught out I thought maybe a couple of changes were just.

Willy, what can you say. It may be a friendly but he's like a cat in those goals.

Yes.
more than happy on what I saw on a first pre-season warm up with plenty of youngsters having a go.

Similar to the Chelsea game last season. Started ok but tired after 20 and stopped the intensity.

The kids did good. I liked Barker, he looked solid.

And still, how good is Sir Fernandinho? Bossing the middle again. What a player.

Thought Angelino and CB with unpronouncable name did well. Great to see us press in groups and put pressure on. As with Chelsea cup game last year thought couple of senior players stood out as not being at it...Navas who if he made decisions second quicker would be great player and Kolarov who passed poorly at times. All in all great to see City back

Problem for Navas is that there's noone in the box when he gets the ball.

We probably should be 3-1 down. I'm counting the one Zinchenko should have done better for. Well done Willy.
Out of our lads, I think Angelino has looked the most up for it, of our youngsters.
Barker would really want to up his game if he hopes to get a chance in Peps plans.
Maffeo hasn't done anything wrong either, but we haven't got a foothold in the middle at all.
I wonder will Pep change things much or give the youngsters their chance to grow into it.
I think Bayern will eventually score if he leaves things as they are.

Ian been poor in possession.
