Nacho might become our version of Welbeck. I don't wish that for him.

When we got our first look at Nacho during the preseason in the US a few seasons ago he was in more of a number 10 role and he looked fantastic with someone else taking the focus of attention, his problem with CIty though is that we have that spot covered more than adequately.

Undroppable right now. So says Pep as well.

Would love to see him play with Kun, but can Pep drop Raheem or Sane right now?

Raheem has played a lot of games this season though, so maybe try him with Sane on the right and Jesus on the left.

im biased because im so frustrated with Raheem's lack of goal threat and lack of effectiveness in the box so id put Sane on the right and Jesus on the left with Aguero up top.

Rotation . He's still only 19, so we've got to be careful not to overplay him. He'll need a rest now 7 then , so will Raheem.

I don't mind what its constituent parts are, but I'm just pleased we're now playing with a front three and a bit of rotation there won't go amiss in keeping them all a little fresher, throughout a season, than otherwise might be the case.

It looks as though Nolito is now well down in the pecking order of things and I'm not sure who he would replace if Pep were to ever bring him back into the side, which is strange really as, earlier in the season, he looked a useful acquisition for us.

Sane has finally found what we were all waiting for if anybody makes way for kun it's Sterling at this stage. A rotation of them 4 is a tasty prospect tho.
Tracking back is overrated.

Sterling is doing really well and i like the lad but his finishing and final ball are letting him down.
If that doesn't improve pep might loose a bit of patience with him more than any of the others in the front 3.

I know what people mean about Sterling being the one most vulnerable to being dropped, but I think he has improved incredibly this year.
I also think the arrival of Jesus has given him a further boost in his step.
He doesn't score as many as he should, but how many penalties has he won and how many should he have been given, this season.
This is all due to his direct running at defence and getting into the box. I think he has done a lot better than maybe his stats show.

I think the three youngsters are in the driving seat at the moment. But first dip in form and you risk being on the bench.
Then someone else gets his chance to keep his place through performance. It's the way it should be all over the park
Nobody should be safe.

Even Bravo has been benched and we thought Pep wouldn't do it. Yaya (Seluk not withstanding) has taken his chance, but we didn't think it was going to come again. Healthy competition. It's great.

Quite the endorsement here:

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/ ... onel-messi

"Manchester City have a very special player with Gabriel Jesus," Ronaldinho said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror. "Maybe even, in the future, the best player in the world.

"At the moment, it is Messi. I have always said I think one day it will be Neymar. But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen."

Pep says he will be praying to big Jesus tonight that little Jesus hasn't broken his toe - but his face told me they know he's been metatarsaled and is out for the rest of the season.

Heaven forfend.

It's just typical though; we get a potent, young striking trio that excites us to the stars and what happens; our brightest gem gets injured at this early stage.

Sometimes it feels as though it could only happen to City.

We should all be asking for Jesus' toes to be blessed tonight - the power of prayer will mend his bones if we have faith.
