Looks a total mess bordering a shambles with just one week to go and a CL qualifier looming ?!?!?!
Don't get me wrong I have total respect for Pep but surely we are in for a bumpy few months before "his" way is implemented properly ?!?!?!

Apparently Ottamendi is injured. So is Vinnie. Certainly tells you why we want Stones, watching today's game.
Those are likely the main 3. The others are just filling in the blanks for now, or being given a whirl to see what they can do there.
Keeper situation also counts and I am less sure what we will do there.

Kompany still injured otamendi injured. The pursuit of stones may well go a notch or two in the coming days.
Can anyone predict our CB partnership for next weekend.

Agree RE keeper situation , Made my feelings known about Joe Hart on here the other night but tonight his confidence looked shot ? It also looks very much like we are going into next Saturdays game v Sunderland and the CL game in Bucharest a week on Wednesday without a recognised center back . A very worrying circumstance to say the very least .

The fact that Pep wants to try him there! Any other manager would've been shot.

If the Stones deal does go through will he be ready to be just thrown straight into a league and CL game ? Also is Pep pushing for the Stones deal to go through ASAP with the defensive set up / selection he put out tonight ?

The back few tonight are clearly not football playing defenders/goalie, so what the fuck was all that pissing about for? A passing game is great if you have the talent. Having watched how error prone we already are then I hope to fuck Stones stays a toffee.

I'm a pessimist at the moment, yet eternal optimism springs true.

Joe always looks so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet and I just wonder if this concern transmits itself to our defenders.
I'm just musing but I wonder if this is partly why Tosin tried to play the ball, which led to their 3rd goal, across the back line, when it would seem to have been an easier pass to direct it back to Joe. I know it was an awful ball and I don't want to excuse it but I just wonder if, subconsciously or otherwise, our defenders don't trust him and, at times, get caught in a bit of a dilemma because of that.

It was a collective shambles at the back tonight . Arsenal could have and should have scored 3 or 4 in the first half when Willy was in goal with every chance down to defensive fuck ups and terrible passing .

That's true, but I just thought we looked better when the changes were made and a few of the youngsters came on.
At that point bit was just a shame to concede the 3rd, especially in the way that we did.

Whatever negotiations are going on with Stones can't have been helped by that lineup. I see no reason to show our hand re: Denayer and Mangala, even if we do intend to get shot of them.
If Everton see highlights of that game, they will probably add another £5M to their asking price.

Strap in enjoy the ride, Players have to step up, I see why we need a sweeper keeper and unless we can prise Ter Stegen or Lham out of Munich we need Pep type players fast. I also think we lack personality and streak of arrogance, Hate to say it the cunt the scum have signed adds a bit of va va boom, Pogba adds more of that for me,Break the bank get Ter Stegen, Lewedowski, Stones.

I must say, personally, I would find it difficult to disagree with any of that.
Fair call, Hazy.

Our defence was as shambolic as your attempt to spell "defensive".
