From Arsenals point of view. Their current goalie is 34. England's number one goalie comes on the market and is five years younger. They have a chance to make a top line signing which appeases the fans.

From Joe's point of view. He still gets CL. He still remains at a decent level PL club. He gets a better salary and more chance of silverware.

34 is old for a keeper and Cech is better than Joe

I'm not ready for this move. Too much smoke for this to not happen IMO but I still have this dream where we get a new keeper, willy goes and Joe fights his way back but....

On another note, I think his next club will be below us (Everton or similar) but I could easily see him ending up at rags, bin dippers or arse within 2 years

No, there wasn't. Everyone basically thought they were a couple of cool dudes.

But there was a vital difference, on matchdays their friendship went on hold, and they became enemies. There would never have been any of the shit Hart gets up to.

But, I suppose in fairness to modern day footballers, players then were much, much closer to the fans, in fact were just working blokes who had struck it lucky.
