So. Sky giving them the usual big build up . Lets hope the Rags fall flat on their arrogant faces this afternoon.
And a draw at Emirates will do nicely. Certainly a Dipper victory would make them insufferable

Looking bang average so the Bournemouth captain gives them a helping hand (twice) to walk it into an open net.

Stuffy cunts, can see Bournemouth getting something from the game though

Unfortunately I caught the pre-match build up at the pub. I though there was only one team playing. You would have thought there would have been enough to talk about for the first game, with new personnel on both sides, a new manager and tactics etc., but it was all about the title, Jose looking to emulate Red Nose , Jose 'Almost guaranteeing a title in his first year, almost...', the biggest box-office draw in the league at the smallest ground etc. I suppose we just have to recognise it is advertising not commentary.
As far as the game goes, they look a month from being ready, like us, and no doubt like Arse and Scouse today.

My main concern regarding the scum this year is that, for those outside the top 6/8, the fear factor returns and teams lose self-confidence as Jose, Ibra and others get into their heads and the head of the ref.

They were looking very comfortable defensively but haven't got much idea in the final third but no accounting for Jones playing like Maureens twelfth man.

Strangely no yellow card. Ref reverting to type, ignoring blatant fouls and corners for Bournemouth.

Just turned on the radio to see how the cunts are doing and it sounds as if that new Bailly bloke should be off within 5 minutes of the restart.
Obviously gifted a goal but that one sounds a decent one.

Now Mata dives and gets a free kick instead of a yellow. I hope this isn't setting the tone for how it's gonna be.

Despite all the wanking that seems to be going on Ibrahimovic's goal was a bit scruffy, but you gotta buy a ticket to win the lottery and he scored goals like that for fun at Paris, he is pretty fucking good at seeing the opportunities to find the keeper flat footed from distance.
This is an area that I really hope we improve on this year, aside from Kev and Yaya, it seems we have had little intention of hitting a first time shot, instead trying to overplay (particularly Silva) which was evident again yesterday.

Good for my Predictor score at least, spot on - can always count on those jammy bastards to win against little teams. I'll wager Bournemouth were so sold on all the propaganda in the media about the new world class rag signings that they were too scared to even come out from under their beds.
How were United anyway? Did anyone watch the game?

Scruffy game, one comical fuck up from Bournemouth in the first half, one clinical finish and one pretty lucky goal that dropped to Rooney unexpectedly. Both sides were pretty poor to be honest, but Bournemouth offered nothing up front

Was a poor game to watch as the scum were more about being well organised and defensively sound than anything else. Up to the first goal it was seriously boring and deserved a nil nil at half time. It seemed Bournemouth were utterley useless but to be fair to the scum they never gave them a sniff with the way they set up. De gea didnt need to be there.
Then the got the breaks with the first two goal, maybe all 3 with the bouncy shot that went in, but it was a stroll.
Like it or not the scum are going to be a serious force this season.
