Thought we played some nice one-twos tonight with some good inter-passing and movement overall.

I suppose the media will try and debase the performance by claiming that Steaua are only a poor side (and then quote, once again, all the money we've spent) but, at the end of the day, you can only beat the team that's put out in front of you and tonight we did just that, showing a bit of style and verve in the process.

It's still early days yet, but I think we have a few grounds for perhaps just a little optimism as to what the future might hold.

I also think it's hats off to Mase. He's always maintained his belief that Kolarov is a fine player and, courtesy of Pep, he's now being vindicated in no uncertain fashion.
