Good half. That free kick from kev, just stunning. Lucky not to concede a pen. Sterling looks a new man. I love how mobile the whole team looks on and off the ball.
If this is our brave new world, I like it a lot.

Definite pen that.
I remember this guy from last season.
So two good games and were done?
Two good games? Don't get you.
You didn't think it was a penalty? I'd be pissed if that was us and it wasn't given, that's how I look at it.

Brilliant news. I had a bet on 7-7
100% true, ADVT and I were behind a pissed up Blue who backed this result in the away end at Sunderland back in 2007/08ish

Ref could have given at least one red card there for Stoke.
But that was a nailed on peno not given AGAINST us.
I'm truly amazed. Maybe this is the season when ot all "evens itself out "
That would be nice.

Also, mike dean has always been my favourite ref. I do think he lets the game flow more in areas others would blow the whistle.
When he booked bojan for kicking the ball away. His "what am I supposed to do" reaction towards bojan. Love it.

I was pissed at the two naughty Stoke challenges and then when Navas does one the whole stadium erupts like they've never seen a challenge before.
And booing sterling for what.
Bunch of cunts.

I'm saying I remember the guy who doesn't track the outside player for the original shot and then tries his best to give away a penalty.
Also, he's lucky Stones is playing alongside him, cause he's saved him twice as well.

That was a great half. Plenty of grit when needed too as well as some great football.
Sterling is on fire, left right or centre.

Dean didn't go out of his way at all for us, it was a clear penalty.
Those are never given. Except for Barcelona. Even though they are penalties tbf. If they were given on a regular basis, as Moonchesteri suggests, corners would become much more interesting as defenders would have to adapt.
But 95% of the time they're off the ball or close to the ball. When they're on the ball they're often given.
The cross literally hit Otter on the head, so if he wasn't held he would have had a free header from 8 yards out.

This was always going to be a game of attrition but the the way we have gone about our business is excellent. Apart from the 2 goals, note how everytime they give us a kick, within the minute we've given one back. Standing up to Stoke is the only way to beat them and with the blustery conditions, our ball on the floor play is really hurting them.
Wonder what Leslie's git looked up his sleeve?

Well we can't complain about the ref. Last year we wouldn't have been given our definite penalty and they most definitely would have been given there's.
We are not in full swing yet. A few unforced errors with the passing but we are streets ahead of what we were producing last year.
We would have been caught on the break a few times today except Stoke defence couldn't get a quick pass away because of our pressing.
I've really got my joy in watching us back and think there are more goals there for us today.

Ah. Well, he was bloody lucky. And Stones does make a huge difference back there, as does fern1 filling in. Sterling's also tracking back pretty well to help.
I think he adapted well in those first 2 games. I'll give him a bit more time to prove whether Pep can get a leopard can change his spots.

Bardsley is just a thug who needs slapping. He intentionally went to hurt Silva in the first half. Silva didn't go to the ball and pulled out yet Bardsley still went over the top. Sort that shit out Dean.

I was very nervous when Sergio had the ball on the left touchline with Shawcroos tracking him. Was just waiting for the injury inducing tackle to come crunching in. Was very happy Sergio messed up and put it out of play!
