2-0 to Boro now. Negredo was involved in that one.

Gollum is working his magic on Sunderland, turning fat Sam's tight outfit to shit

Boro look decent

Both great goals from Boro. It's good to see our Niall chewing a wasp in the studio.

Eres Unal with a great 1st half hat trick:

Might be a young player that Pep would want to work with

Another striker wouldn't go amiss. But I bet he's stuck out there for the season?

Seems doubtful we'd have been able to include the ability to recall him from the loan.

Would be a bit hasty now anyway. It's only the 3rd game of the Eridivesie season, but he didn't play the first match for Twente when they lost 2-1.

Seems Twente need a goal scorer as Unal came on as a sub in the previous game, where they didn't score, and lost again, so he started today. After this performance and their apparent need for goals he has an excellent chance to play every game in a decent league so rather he does that now and see how he performs over the course of the season.

He keeps up this type of form and he has a very good chance to make the squad next year. Let's slow down though. We have Jesus coming in January, but those are one of those good problems. :)

Apparently Twente almost blew his hat trick btw, and needed a goal in the 92nd minute to win 4-3.

Sunderland look like they are going to be in a lot of trouble this season. How funny is it Rodwell wants to be converted to CB now? They are a hot mess and Agent Moyes surely knows this.

They are a club I could see being in for Bony as he could help them in various ways, especially with build up play which they desperately need. They need help all over the place, including up front and Defoe can't do everything on his own. They could form a good partnership actually.

Maybe West Ham comes for him as well, but I would think only for a loan. That's also complicated since Ayew is going to come back in the winter, and Carroll in month and a half or so, however much he competes with Vinny for sick note of the year again in the PL (I believe I recall Big Sam calling out Carroll's life habits).

Three of those players are certain to be out.

However, Bilic now says Payet and Lanzini will be back against us, of course.

But wise heads are saying we still need to buy a striker this season for Aguero's predictable absences. What I'd like to know is what age would that desperately needed striker be? ;o)

How thick is Rodgers to leave Patrick Roberts on the bench? He's about to get knocked out by Hapoel something something.

Fuck me, that's embarrassing. I'm sure he can blame Raheem.

That's mighty personal. I see the BRodge was pulling the ole Pellegrini. Fit enough to sit the bench.
