With 3.5 hours to go i'm getting the sense there isn't much interest among us for this one, a fore gone conclusion perhaps (without wishing to jinx it)!

Anyway, team news sill 2,5 hours away.........

The officials tonight are from Poland and headed by referee Pawel Gil who normally overseas Europa Cup games from what i can see.

Anyone looking for TV coverage here is a list of channels showing it. I think my sofa will be porting to USA for this one courtesy of FS1.

Personally, having read Pep's comments about the game i suspect he'll start with pretty much full squad bar 2 maybe 3 changes until we gone 2-0 up and then maybe ring changes & we might see some of the other juniors get a decent run out.

Kelechi rumoured to get his first start of the season, also rumours that YaYa & Joe Hart.......... Possible farewells for the latter two?

I'll leave it someone else to put the usual tag line........

One of the worst teams I've seen. Mind you if they don't keep six players in our half again we might be in trouble

I shall be on the train home from London for the first half so will get updates probably every 10 minutes when I manage to get a signal. It would be ideal for our slow build ups last season!

Lol.

They are playing with many reserves also. No Niță, the gk. They are playing with a joke in goal.

Hart plays apparently.

Any word who else? I've a tenner on sterling first goal scorer, city win 3-1.

I was going to stick it on kelechi instead but was swayed by raheem's 50/1 price. This is why I'll never make a successful gambler.

It'll be interesting to see how the midfield adapts to Pep's system, if they can. I wonder if Nacho will learn from Sergio being told not to disappear when we don't have the ball.

What a pointless game. Nearly worse than those awful preseason efforts.
Anyway yaya to score 6 ogs, by putting the ball to harts left ..........

would have preferred stones and nolito to rest.

edit: and where's angelino?

Angelino on bench.

I understand Stones playing again. He came very late so more "competitive" time in the new system is beneficial.
Id like to see Angelino and Tosin on.

No point in Aguero or Silva coming on at any point

Great chance for fringe players to practice the system in a competitive game. When we get a few injuries later this year, we better hope others can slot right in.

Excited to see Joe in goal, Maffeo, and Yaya. Nacho brace, 4-0 City

Come on you Blues!!!

Not very excited about the game but it is City after all so will be cheering on as usual. An easy 3-0 stroll with a cigar on for Yaya
