Had it been against any of our players I would be fuming if it wasn't given. If Sergio plays in the derby we're a lucky team.
This is spot on.
It was naughty. Annoying that they're making a meal, and they did backtrack a bit. But Sergio deserves what he gets for it.
In the same way that Bogbrush always gets what he deserves for his misdemeanours.
Also spot on.

It was naughty and I think it deserves a ban but it's the intent that the media has that fucks me off.
It's the insistence of "intent" that bothers me. Guarantee Sergio was annoyed at getting wacked all game and wanted to give one back. Not to injure Reid, just to say "back off"

I think it was a frustrating afternoon for Sergio a point illustrated by 'that incident' whether intentional or not only Sergio will know. Because of the new directives in clamping down on the perceived ugly side of the game I've no doubt the prem league officials will be rubbing their hands at the opportunity to use this as a means to underline their approach by banning him - a high profile player just before one of the biggest games of the season. On the plus we scored goals without Sergio scoring and should have seen others - kdb, Silva and nolito who should have also have netted. Lets not forget Iheanacho of course who will get the chance to showcase his attacking skills if Sergio is banned and is very capable.
That is of course unless pep plays nasri up front!
I think a ban for Aguero may be a blessing in disguise as it'll give Pep time to instil in him the importance of passing to team mates who are in better scoring positions. I think Iheanacho has that message already, so... goals at Old Toilet.

If we were playing Bournemouth the next game they wouldn't be trying so hard to get Aguero banned but because it's the scum they're desperate to get him banned. And just wait till Mourinho starts spouting his vile garbage on the incident even though he doesn't talk about other clubs.
They'll be a Rag conference called just to let him have a say, even though none is required until after the international break.

Nasri such a weird one..... Did they kiss n make up? Surely if he was in plans previousley he would of got time on wed rather than throwing him in deep end today, if its a case of give him away or keep i say keep....same goes for them all.
I think nasri can def do a job for us under pep systens if he works hard.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another win. Another three goals. Attackers, especially Silva and Nolito first half look awesome.
Another game without a clean sheet. Am slightly concerned about this.
Surprised to see Nasri come on but he does retain possession well which won't have gone unnoticed by Pep. Of course, it could just be he's put him on to remind potential buyers out there he is fit. Sterling looked lively and took his goals well.
Let's get the International break over with and hopefully get all our boys back without further injuries and we'll be ready for the next game. If Kun is suspended for the derby then so be it. We have plenty of quality to deal with it. Sky are obviously showing their true colours in highlighting the Aguero incident whilst overlooking the multiple times one of their lads could have seen red. Funny how Bogbrush using his elbows doesn't get the same coverage. It's almost as if there was some sort of bias....!!!!
I'm with Beefy on the Sky positioning. It's the way they portray different teams and the incidents in question. And as for Quinn today, well, if he was a horse or a dog a fucking big needle would be coming his way to put him out of his misery. I wouldn't mind so much if he were an ex West Ham player who was rooting for his old side. A bit like all the ex dippers and rags and gooners they have on. But no, he is an ex City player whom I imagine is Sky's answer to having club representation. It's actually worse than having Camelgob and Ginger Pig over on BT. At least they have a right to hate us.
Back to the game, great first half and better last twenty minutes of second half. Love Peps energy on the touchline and by Sterlings post match comments, he and the other boys do too.

He has such disappointment in his voice when we score/win and tries to deflect any glory. And when the opposition score he can't contain his glee. IF he has a script you wouldn't know

I think it's more to do with payments to him when he could've left; they weren't on the money they are now.
He's not a City fan, he's a bloke who played for us and as much as we want him to like us, his allegiances are more toward the BlackCats than us.
Think about it, he's an Irishman growing up in the Sky 4 era?

OD's spoken to him and it's cause Quinn 'doesn't think we're a family club anymore'.

First Half was majestic , David Silva was on a different level.
Second Half , lost our way a bit after the goal , but always looked liked getting another one or two.
I think Sanga will come straight back into the team , Zabba's legs have gone.
The fullbacks are the missing piece of the jigsaw for me.
Teams will be beat in the Tunnel within the next 3 months.

Must've been different at the game, Zab's seemed to be everywhere and his legs went at a similar time to everyone else.

Was at fault for the goal and kept doing the overlap which is not the style Pep is trying to instil.
Clichy was much tighter to their players.
Not having a go at him but he was the weak link today.

Clichy wasn't great on the goal either.

Do you think those 20 minutes is what Pep was looking for?
The whole team were at fault for the goal, Zab's is just a figure to point at.
We lost it, mentally, but players like Zab's instilled it back into us.
