Call me old fashioned but id love to see a 442 played with him and mendy on the left i think it has potential to be best left hand side in the world. Even 433 with mendy and sane on same side.

I think Sane is our most exciting player he gets me off my feet more than anyone, his potential is incredible.

Moreover, I love 4-3-3 but, rightly or wrongly, I always think of 4-4-2 as being 'old fashioned' and forever linked with British Managers of the 80s and 90s, who had little or no tactical originality of thought.
