My sentiments entirely Mr J. The team needs team players and he's a team player alright - he's also an established Spanish international so nobody can accuse him of not having attained a sufficient skill set for the upper echelons of the game.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Every time Nolito has started in the league we've won.

Get him back in the starting XI on a regular basis Pep.

On the subject of Barton, now he's a free agent again, is there a PL club dumb enough to take him on? Surely not and Villa or Forest or Sheffield are the likely destinations

Somehow. don't know why, but I feel that his moment in the QPR game was intentional. I have this feeling that in his fucked up mind, he wanted to help us win it and somehow he did.

The best moment of his career by far.

Him and Tevez were in cahoots then? It was Tevez that hit him first, luckily enough the officials didn't spot that.

He did? Forgot about that. I remember Joey doing a Barton.

He did indeed, it's funny that Tevez is remembered so fondly, he could've fucked our chances of winning the title that day because of his petulance.

Well, he was at the Golf Masters for more than 4 months. He just made a cameo for us that season.

It's all about the balance when he starts.
Don't think he's the best touch or vision or technique even, but he brings something raw, has a goal in him and he brings balance to the team.

We are a better team if he is playing, simple as that.
