Oh ffs. He's a winger that has contributed to 10 goals in around 1100 minutes playing for City ( 6 goals 4 assists ).

He brings some qualities, but to me he looks bang average and nothing to get excited about.
When he's on the bench and things aren't going well, I don't think "Get that Nolito on, he'll change the game for us"

His part in that game was truly memorable. Not the penalty misses.

For a a lad asked to do a job last night, I have no complaints, he ran his knackers off against a bunch of thugs.

The bloke brings some needed fight to the team, and he can score. What's not to like unless you just want a reason to moan. And there's a few, quite a few to be honest.

He brings a bit of grit, and often were much the better for it. Some of the rest of them are too fucking nice.

If Nolito is a world class player then Michael Johnson is an Estate Agent.

He is another one of those who shouldn't be blamed for the deal Spafia made for him. I think he puts in good effort but he was always a late bloomer (he was only playing top level European football at age of 25) and has only experience of playing in pretty softnleagues for wingers in Portugal and Spain. We paid something like 15 M for him and handed him nonsensical four year deal (most wingers are in rapid decline after 30) but that's not his fault. We would need guy like him as rotational player but he isn't long term answer to anything.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
