Next: City vs Mönchengladbach

I know we're all still dining out Saturday's result, but are we ready to Boo the corrupt anthem tomorrow evening?

Like us Mönchengladbach had to qualify for UCL which saw them go through 9-2 over the two legs against Young Boys.

They've had just two Bundesliga games so far, a home win 2-1 against Leverkusen and whilst we were humiliating the rags in their own back yard on Saturday, tomorrows nights opponents lost away to Freiburg & are currently sitting 10th in their domestic league

UEFA have selected Björn Kuipers (Netherlands) as their agent on the ground to do his best to fuck us over....

It will also nice to see Kun back on the pitch rather than having to wait another 3 weekends before he's back in the Prem!

Will Pep give Ilkay his debut given he will know the opposition? Does Willy get a run out or will he let Claudio try and redeem himself after his calamitous start?

I'm just hoping Sky engineer that is coming tomorrow can get our fibre back running as we've exhausted all our 4g!!

C'mon City lets have our 7th win under Pep please.

Maybe Ilkay will be given a few minutes but I doubt he will start but I can see Sane starting instead of either Raheem or Sterling. I am sure he would like to rest either/both of KDB or Merlin but they are playing so well and this is a massive match.

Looking forward to the double header with the "kids" playing in the afternoon.

Just a slight strain apparently, you know the type that keep you away from international duty but you then recover just in time to line out for your club.

My fantasy footy app shows KDB doubtful for the Bournemouth game?

The derby took a lot out of some of our lads. Dinho, Silva and Kev spring to mind, so I would like to see one of them getting a rest, however the first group game is always a very important one.

I know he's started well this year so it's understandable that you may think he's two players rolled into one.

Press Conference clips being aired currently on BBC, presumably available in full on the OS very soon.

Pep said this game was the equivalent of a cup final for him, so I reckon hell put out the strongest team possible.

tbh I was so focused on the derby I completely forgot we have a CL game just around the corner. lol.
though that's how it should be I guess, focus only on the next game etc.

I do wonder if both ilkay and sane will start to be honest. German opposition which they will be familiar with, both fit, both could replace players needing a rest.

Can see Ilkay getting half an hour and then starting against Bournemouth. Vinny might get a few minutes at the weekend. He'll be careful with both understandably. Sane should start tomorrow.
