Can't we afford eleven snorkels or something? (The opposition and officials can do without, obviously)

Pitch is playable apparently. Called off for safety reasons.

I remember a game v Leicester in about 95. Midweek. Pissing down. Puddles all over the place. They didn't postpone that fucker. We lost. They scored from a cross where the through ball down the line got stuck in a puddle. Rain never bothered them then.

Holy shit.
Was looking forward to this.
How did a storm hit Manchester without going through us first.
We normally get it a good 8 hours before you lot.

It has to be played tomorrow according to the rules. If it doesn't the only free midweek we have apart from international games is before boxing day

Looks like 2pm kick off

So 2pm with no crowd, but not later this evening with a bit of a crowd? Makes no sense. I've been fucked over loads of times with traffic or train fuck us and they never postponed those games even though there were half empty seats with the issues. Why is tonight different? Pathetic.

I was there. David Brightwell at LB. Awful.

But the abandoned Ipswich match was surely the wettest? Rocastle super goal

Bit disappointing to say the least. What's up with a bit of rain, they never been to Manchester before!
