Our current defense and VK

Surely he won't budge anyone out of the back line once he's back from injury ???

He's got no fuckigb chance as far as I'm concerned , we have total understanding at the back and we don't need VKupsetting the apple cart right now , but what will Pep do ? Cup games only barring injuries ?

I only brought this up with my old man earlier tonight after the game as Stones and the Otter have been looking so solid alongside each other so far. The pair of them are both good on the ball but i't's no secret Kompany is a very tidy footballer himself, I'd say Pep ain't complaining about the situation.

I believe Pep has already addressed this when he told vinnie to take his time coming back and said something along the lines of him having to fight his way back into the team.

Kompany will have to wait for his opportunity but when it comes and he is fit, he will make us stronger.

Vinny will be the first person to understand he needs to wait for his chance with the defence looking good.

I would still have a fit Vinny over a rejuvenated Otter.

Vince is a better player than The Otter and more than competent on the ball. When the chance comes he will show it I'm sure

There is probably room for a C in our defence -

If his body allows it.

There's a league cup tie approaching, the ideal opportunity to ease Vinnie back in and give one of our centre back pairing a rest.

He has to prove his reliability first and then he can go about winning his place back.
